View Full Version : I love this little Ted Nugent rant

I like big cars, big boats, big motorcycles, big houses and big campfires. I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some governmental stooge with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts for squirting out babies.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, that is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE? I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.

I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens. Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your
door.

I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability.

I know what sex is, and there are not varying degrees of it. If I received sex from one of my subordinates in my office, it wouldn't be a private matter or my personal business. I would be "FIRED" immediately!

I believe that if you are selling me a milk shake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours. I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry self if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word "freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I feel much safer letting a machine with no political affiliation recount votes when needed. I know what the definition of lying is.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor. I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I believe a self-righteous liberal or conservative with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building. Ask your buddy that invented the Internet to help you.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

"I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me french fries!

I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa; so how can they be "African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe. I am proud to

Thanks for posting that. I really enjoyed reading it and will be sharing it with others.

Though I did have a problem with just one thing...

I know wrestling is fake.

I feel that it is the height of hypocracy to say that celebrities should keep their mouths shut about politics since they know nothing, and then post this meandering idiocy.

Just for clarity's sake, this was NOT written by Nugent. Yes, it IS a real piece, but it was not written by him, George Carlin, Denis Leary or Rush Limbaugh. It was written by a freelance writer who posts on the website FreeRepublic.com and it first appeared back in September 2000. Again, this IS a real piece, and I'm not trying to "discredit" it...just trying to keep people from being confused. Besides, you'd think it would have a little more weight if it's known it was NOT written by Nugent...

http://www.snopes.com/language/document/carlin.htm

My only question is this...who the heck is Martha Burke?

Other than that, I just truly and honestly love this part...

I believe a self-righteous liberal or conservative with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude.

Amen.

**EDIT** Just noticed that the version LC posted is heavily updated, modified and changed from the author's original piece, apparently to reflect current events. I can't find anything to indicate that the author himself ever did it, so who KNOWS who's been doing the editing along the way as it bounces from mailbox to mailbox. The orignal piece was very much the same, but was very clear on reiterating, "we may disagree with each other, but that's our right to." Seems that very important point was almost lost along the way with this "new" one. Too bad.

My only question is this...who the heck is Martha Burke?

She's that cuntrag at NOW who keeps bitching at the golf course in Augusta, Georgia to let them let women join their club. They're allowed to play there, they're just not allowed to be members. It was started by a bunch of rich old guys who wanted it to be a place to get away from their wives and all that. With all the oppression of women going on in the world, this is this ladies main cause. It's a joke.

Oh, and I've always heard people say that Ted Nugent wrote it, but yeah I could be wrong. Anyway, I don't have a problem with celebrities being political. I have a problem with uneducated moronic celebrities speaking out. I don't agree with a thing that Alec Baldwin says, but he really knows his shit, so I can't say much there. However, jackasses like Janeane Garafolo just drive me fucking nuts.

And you don't think Ted Nugent is one of those?

Ted Nugent is by far one of the smartest politically active celebrities I've ever heard speak. He really knows his shit, and he'll shut down just about anyone in an argument.

This is true. I was pretty surprised the first few times I heard him speak, he's very very well-spoken.

I like Ted Nugent, agree with him most of the time, and we share the same birthday, but does anyone else notice that this guy's ass is repeatedly kissed anytime he talks politics?

Of course his ass is kissed, he brings politics to the table in an attractive way. He doesn't just bust out numbers and stats.

Sorry man, you ARE wrong. This ain't the Nuge. But just to clarify, how are Nugent or Baldwin "more educated" than Garafolo? Don't get me wrong, I can't STAND when she goes off on her poorly spoken and aimless political tirades, but she honestly seems hardly any more or less "aware" or "educated" than Nugent. Nugent probably knows more on gun issues and laws, but that's probably it. Otherwise, he just access to the same books, internet, radio, TV and media outlets that someone like Garafolo has. How do we KNOW he's "smarter" than her? I LIKE the guy, and think he's damn entertaining, but when it comes to political issues he seems to be just speaking from his gut or parroting what he's heard from "experts"...just like very other celebrity. He's just wittier and a quicker speaker than most others. What's the honest difference here?

I don't know, but I just can't take Garafolo seriously. It's like taking Madonna's latest little political bitchings seriously.

Someone needs to tell the author of the rant that Martha Burke is not trying to join the Boy Scouts.

" and they ask me why I drink"
