Lately when I go into stores, I get greeted by young teenage girls who will say something like "Can I help you with anything hun?"
or "Let me check in the back if we have more of those hun, I'll be right out"
or "Here's your venti quad iced caffe latte hun"
or "will you be needing this giftwrapped hun?"
It sounds like something my grandmother would say, but instead it's young girls in these stores. Is it a fluke that girls are now using the word "hun" or is it something that these stores are telling their people to say to customers to personalize the shopping experience. Just curious, because it's either that or I'm just adorable.
