Former Knick Dave DeBusschere dead

DeBusschere Dead At 62

Basketball Hall of Famer Dave DeBusschere died today of a heart attack. DeBusschere, who played power forward on the Knicks' two championship teams, was named one of the NBA's 50 greatest players. He was commissioner of the A.B.A. and also pitched for the White Sox organization. DeBusschere was 62.

For all of us old timers who remember watching the great Knick teams for the early 70's Dave DeBusschere did today of a heart attack. Those Knick teams were great DeBusschere, Bradley, Monroe, Frazier, Reed, and a young Phil Jackson (riding the pine).

We need everyone to keep spreading the word about Ron and Fez. Get you friends, coworkers, hell anyone you talk to get them to listen.

Everytime I heard this report on the radio, I thought his name was Dave "The Butcher." I thought he was some CRAZY player who Cut Down the competition or something.

Anyway, sorry he dies. People seemed to like him.
