Why do people listen to games on the radio? I can't imagine a more boring activity than listening to a game, any sport, on the radio. What's the point? You hear people cheer and the sports announces says "Oh my God! That was a great play!" What was? We can't see, we're using a radio.

That is so true!! I remember my grandfather listening to Irish Rugby on the radio. They didn't have TV over in Ireland in the "Old" days. What with TV, video games, the internet- I think that a lot of people are losing the ability to think-pure and simple!!! Another thing, when I ride the subway, 50% of the people I see either have a walkman on or are asleep. What happened to the readers I always saw on their way to work? I guess they retired!!!

radio announcers are better than TV most of the time. plus if im listenin to the radio it means i cant get to the TV, but im only lissening for the score really. and when robert horry hits the game winning 3 pointer......God i hate the lakers.

I'd rather listen to Radio announcers then TV. During the playoffs, I can't stand those awfull anouncers like Mcarver and Buck, cocky sons of bitches. I'd rather hear turn the TV sound off and listen to Sterling.
