I saw a preview for this movie when seeing X2. I had heard about it a few months ago, and after seeing the trailer, I am looking forward to it even more. Its about a guy who wakes up after a virus devastates London and turns everybody into zombies. Its like The Omega Man meets Night of the Living Dead.

Hardly. Basically the similarities end after the "virus creates zombies" shtick, which "Resident Evil" already ripped off from OTHER zombie flicks...

I can't wait for this film. All the reviews have basically said that this is the return of the Danny Boyle that directed "Shallow Grave" and "Trainspotting", and that's enough for me. Plus, it was written by Alex Garland, who wrote "The Beach" (The brilliant book, not the shittily adapted film), and the guy is one hell of a writer.

All it takes is one look at the trailer to realize that this is not Resident Evil, not the game or the shitty movie.

Wow, this isn't what I thought it was.

When I saw the title of the thread I thought there was going to be a sequel to the Sandra Bullock movie '28 Days' .... ok folks, you can carry on the conversation now, pretend I was never here.
