More OnA + Sirius/XM rumours

O&A On The Way Baaack? - 5/12 - More rumblings that Opie and Anthony may be on the way back to a radio near you. OK, a satellite radio. The NYC press is reporting that the duo has again been seen in the vicinity of the Big Apple HQ of Sirius satellite radio. There have also been reports that Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia have been talking to DC's XM. Of course, Sirius and XM are free of the FCC's rules on program "decency." Heard on WJFK-FM from NYC's WNEW, O&A were canned last August after that sex in a church stunt.....

They have to use the real names in a "legitimate" news story. Not everyone who listens is a fan of the show, and they're not making it seem like it's a big reveal, just their names.

ok, here's the question, O&A end up on Sirius, but then R&F leave infinity and go to XM. Which system do you get?

XM. The only good part of O and A is Anthony and odds are he'll sit in on Ron & Fez occasionally. Opie was always too much of a tool later in the game to spend much time with R&F. Anthony was always there, adding to the funny.

I'd imagine that the XM attorneys would be much worse
about ratting out feeds than the Infinity attorneys. It's
like stealing cable.

I honestly doubt Ron and Fez would go to satellite radio. They aren't little rats that follow O&A around. They have their own careers in radio and have a great show, no matter where it is being broadcast from...Although I do wish that they could all be on the same satellite system.

Sirius is honestly better than XM. XM has commercials. and Sirius is 100% commercial free. XM's technology for receiving the signal is flawed and causes many drop outs during the broadcast. I know this because my dad has been working for the company that makes the technology for Sirius. He tests their technology and knows the difference between the two companies.

And is 10 dollars all that much to laugh your balls off on a daily basis? I think not!

Actually its more like $3650, its a nice chunk of change, but its not even remotelly close to a million.

Plus $10 is what the MONTHLY subscription costs.

I have XM and the little annoyance drop-outs happen for about a second when I go under a bridge and not every bridge.

I drove to Cooperstown last summer and drove all over the place up there with not 1 single drop-off of my XM signal and it rained for most of my week up there.

XM has 10times the amount of subscribers as SIRIUS. Sirius was close to going to bankrupcy court, then they announced that were looking into broadcasting Video into cars.

If 10 bucks a month is too much to laugh and listen to great music like on XM.

Who is going to pay 13 bucks a month for SIRIUS?

XM has manufactuer backing from SONY, ALPINE, GM, Pioneer.

Sirius has Kenwood and JVC, and no Car manufactuers that I know yet.
