I know Pay Per View promos/posters are mostly misleading. But the "Judgment Day" commercial featuring only Booker T, leads me to believe he will be new I.C. champion as a consolation prize for losing at Wrestlemania XIX to HHH.

I was thinking Jericho, but your logic makes definate sense. Probably reverting to the old school booking of a face and heel champion, be it a face title and heel I-C champ, and vice versa. Whoever wins, the title is automatically worth more than the glorified Million Dollar Championship prop that HHHIV has his pop protect for him.

Are we all forgetting Billy Gunn? He was an IC champ and he'so longer on the Smackdown Roster, which leads me to suggest that he will be in the Battle Royal and then if not winning it will become part of the RAW roster since most of wrestling's all-stars are on RAW.

It will only be former IC champs. I don't know whether they'll let Smackdown wrestlers in on it. As long as they have at least 10 former champs on the RAW roster, they probably won't go to the other roster for more.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Honky be a surprise entrant.

Personally? I'd mark if Marc Mero showed up. I'd mark harder if he showed up as Johnny B. Badd - that way, we can come full circle from TWELVE years ago and have Johnny once again managed by Teddy Long, in his "We Hate Whitey" group.

Predictions anyone? I'd have to guess the frontrunners for this are Jericho & Michaels. Even money those are the last two left in the battle royale.

I must disagree. As many reservations as I have about Edge as a singles wrestler, I think Christians is by far one of the most OVERrated wrestlers amongst the IWC (internet wrestling community).

Putting the belt on him MAY be a good idea, if they've done it to push him as a "fresh" midcard / upper-midcard heel. I can get into a Booker T / Xian feud for the belt.

However, I'm VERY fearful, given the past month of WWE programming, that they're simply using Xian as a stepping stone, nothing but a transitional champ so that he can job the belt to Goldberg. I have a horrible suspicion that this is what they'll do.

If that is the case, the title will INSTANTLY lose all credibility. And I'll wonder what the purpose of bringing the fucking back in the first place was.

I hope my fears prove groundless.
