Its 12pm sturday night and this show comes on. I don't really know what to think about it, but i can say that it is very average.

Plus, one of their characters or co-hosts, or interns named "Sleazy-E" sounds a lot like Robert "the only thing goin for Don and Mike" the angry mailman.

Have any of you listened to this?

Well, I've listened thru to the end. The show is very very average. One oddity is that any time a character on the show says anything derogatory, he is sent to the dungeon or the cell or something(It's really Buzz's studio). This seems very strange for a "shock" radio show.

If "sentenced" to the studio, they have to serve a "term" and are "pardoned" after a few minutes.

The show is not bad. I think it has potential, they just need to cut back on the nervous laughter.

The management of WJFK seems to be more interested in developing talent that WNEW ever was. If I remember correctly, the Sports Junkies were on the weekends at JFK before they got the weekday evening slot. Has anyone recorded this show? I'm interested just to see what JFK's "minor leagues" look like now.

Hopefully if the show develops and gains an audience, it will replace O'Reilly's midday spot or get take the weekday overnight slot, rather than interfere with R&F.

Reality radio? gimme a break.

Its got potential, but its nothing special. The whole holding cell idea is dumb, cause it takes the fun out of the show. The names arent funny because they have no meaning behind them, Pimp Juice? if there was story behind itd be much more entertaining.

Overall its not great, but then again its better than o'Reilly.

Mojo how is the music show. I am usually not listening to the radio at 10pm on Sunday nights. I know it is being sponsored by the State Theater, but that is about the extent of what I know about the show. What bands are they playing?


We need everyone to keep spreading the word about Ron and Fez. Get you friends, coworkers, hell anyone you talk to get them to listen.

a while ago, like 2 weeks ago, i called in a told El Jeffe he sucked. It really shot his confidence and for about 5 minutes and after every break he nervously tried to make jokes about replays.

He also called me Opie. I intend to do more of this heckling.

jafter, I'm REALLY enjoying the music show, and I'm about the saddest, most picky music geek around. It's basically your average kickass college radio station, unfortunately shrunk down to just over an hour. There's three hosts, and they each push a band that they're listening to at the moment each week, plus the show highlights usually 2 or 3 local bands, and then they highlight another 3 or 4 bands at random just for kicks...the focus is usually modern "indie", underground alterna-rock, though they do branch out every so often in hip-hop, "electronica", metal, alt.country and even jam bands(Ech!), and often play "classic alternative" bands from the 80's. They take callers and let people rate the bands and suggest what they're listening to at the moment...all in all it's a fun, funny, laid back show with some great, great music, and it deserves at least 4 hours each week.

Is El Jeffe getting the overnight slot? I only got a
chance to hear one segment of the show tonight, the
first one in which listener's called in with inventions that
should be invented. R&F asked El Jeffe if he wanted to
judge the contest, but he declined, because he was
preparing for his first night, or something like that.

I guess we'll find out at 11:00 if they're giving El Jeffe a
shot at overnights.

Is this guy any good? I don't want to be negative before giving the guy a chance.

Is he going to be on weeknights or only on weekends.
