MISSING: One BBQ Grill

For the summer, I decided to buy a grill for delicious BBQ goodness. So I did some research, and bought a nice Sunbeam gas grill at Shoprite. I took it to my girlfriend's house and built it, then we moved it into her backyard and put a cover on it.

I went to sleep.

When I woke up the next morning, said grill is GONE. Vanished.

Somebody fuckin' stole my grill, and now I'm pissed!

I've had stuff stolen from me before, but you steal something that makes me food, and that's dirty pool.

The funny thing is, I'm not sure if it was assembled correctly or not, because I wanted to take a look at the burner/gas assembly.

So if a neighbor's house blows up in the next few days, I'll just start giggling.

EXACTLY. I hadn't finished building it yet, and it's w/o a propane tank, so I'm praying that someone's house in the neighborhood gets blow'd the fuck up for stealing my grill.

I think it is strange that you only had the grill for a day. Maybe a neighbor covets your fine taste in the culinary arts. OR maybe it was an inside job. Someone from the store where you bought it. Most likely someone drove by and saw you unloading it and decided to come back and grab it. What bold thieves you have! I hope Karma bites them in the ass...

See, that would make sense if we'd bought it pre-assembled but we didn't.

And you can't see my backyard from the street, either. So it's virtually impossible for it to have been a drive-by. You have to live in one of the adjacent houses (both next-door and in back) to even get a GLIMPSE of my backyard, plus it was close to my house.


I have my suspicions that my pothead, college-kid neighbors are behind this somehow. I'm of 2 minds to call the cops again and tell them we might know who's responsible for its disappearance.

hA hA. I grew up in Elizabeth, god knows if you chained anything to your house, what ever part of the house it was chained to would go missing as well. I remember when I was 8 years old some African American kids like 3-4 years older than me stole my brand new Super Soaker water gun. Which I was holding it. DIdn't even know it was gone. They teach the art of stealing in school in Elizabeth.

Well at first it was a little chilly but now tht it's warming up, it's all good.

Don't need to plug in modems either; just find someone in the neighborhood with a wireless network....

...but that's a trick for another day.
