For me it was my old Ford Mustang. My father gave me his Mustang L. Not an LX, just L. base model with 2.1 liter engine. On top of it's inherent crappiness, my sister had been in two major wrecks in this thing. So by the time i got a hold it, it was beaten to shit.

i couldn't tell you the model of the car, but it was an old piece of shit station wagon. it was a really ugly brown with holes all over the place. the front passenger seat had a big hole right where your feet would go....i received tons of Flinstone "do we need to carry the car ourselves" jokes.

'74 Ford Mustang. What a piece of crap! I remember having to drive someone home who lived on a steep hill. I had let some of my friends out of the car and pick them up on the way back down!

The best car I ever owned was a '78 Toyota Corolla. I was the 3rd owner. It had well over 200,000 miles on it and ran like a charm. I never put any money into it other than routine maintenance. The body, on the other hand, was all metal. I finally had to ditch it when the bottom rotted out and it became a Flintstone car.

Considering I've filed lemon law suits on four different cars, I think my car history takes the cake. I've had seven cars since I was 17.

91 Plymouth Sundance. Awful Car.

96 Pontiac Sunfire. Can we say top 10 girls car of the year?

87 Pontiac TransAm. 4 of the 8 cylinders worked, trunk didnt open, only one pop up headlight worked, you could turn on car without the key.

85 Mercurcy Cougar. Previous owner painted over the red with a shellac brown house paint. My friends called it the Turd. Radiator problems, blew manifold, replaced engine by hand with my uncle.

93 Mazda MX-3. Teal. Awful. Fast though...first stick car. Had it for a month before the dealership realized my credit wasn't going to go through.

97 Honda Accord. Brake failures. Won $1500 from Honda.

97 Ford Mustang LX. Cherry red, car fell apart from the inside, most noteably the day my rearview mirror came off during driving.

2002 Mercedes Benz. 23 different component failures from the supercharger to the seat latches. Worst car I have ever owned ever. Service history on this car spans thirty plus pages. Do NOT buy a Benz.

My worst car was an 81 AMC concord.

What a piece of shit... portions of the doors, hood, fenders, just kept rusting out and falling off, the car looked like it had leprosy...

A close second in the suck scale was the car I got to replace the AMC, a 81 ford tempo...

Anyway, peace & hugs,

hahahaha my car is the best.

First of all its disgustingly dirty. It's the dirtiest car ever. And I'm not one of those people who is like "hehe I have a cup of coffee in my cupholder so my car is dirty". I'm talking absolute filth.

The right front window doesnt go down. Most of the knobs inside are broken. The cup holders are all broken. Something new breaks every day. The wheel fell off once while i was driving it (that was the best). The brakes melded together once. The left blinker doesnt really work unless you wiggle the switch the right way. Sometimes the power in the car just dims for no reason and the car goes real slow, then it kicks back in again. The gas pedal has a tendency to get stuck and you have to ram your foot underneath and pull it up. When I drive over 70, the entire car starts to shake.

Before i got the electrical system fixed, the lights would only stay on if you had the windshield wipers on high (so i had to drive around at night with the wipers on even if it wasn't raining). The car is covered in dents and scratches. I hit things with it all the time.

Did i mention the smell? There's some horrible smell in the car and i can't find the source. I looked all though the car and under the seat. My father spilled bleach all through the carpet on the back of the car, I think it mixed with some of the garbage back there to create some supersmell that will never go away.

I hate my 2002 BMW series 7. It takes over 30 seconds for the seats to heat up in the winter, the kocabola wood trim on the dash constantly needs to be dusted and my Blaupunkt quad stereo won't go above 130 dbs. Damn- I hate this piece of shit!!!

Little things started to go on my '92 Hyundai Excel. I remember the day I finally registered my 2000 Elantra wagon. The fucking door locks on the Excel refused to open! I had to climb through the hatchback right there in the DMV parking lot!

My '94 Pontiac Grand Am had to be the worst car i've ever owned( I've only owned two cars but still). I paid $4500 for it but it cost me much much more. Within the first week of owning it, the motormounts went. That was 800 dollars. Then the brakes went not once or twice but three times within less than one year at $250 each time to fix it. It wasn't the way I drove because I spoke to three other Grand Am owners who had to do the same thing. By the end of that expensive year, I had to replace all the sensors in the car, how wonderful. The car ended up costing me as much as I paid for it. I don't remember how it ran because it was being fixed so much. Fucking American car, what a piece of shit. Now I have my Japanese Neon.....the Mazda Protege. Another piece o'crap but it runs, barely.

I had an early 80's Pontiac Phoenix for the last year of it's (short) life. I found this review...

Unfortunately, they got a bad name. They were said to be "Junk". Well, with a total new concept of design and economy, these cars were driven in the same manner as the common gas guzzler tanks of the previous years. These new cars with transverse mounted engines could not handle the abuse, thus broke them down quicker.

84 Oldsmobile Brougham. First and only car that got less than 8 miles to the gallon, the tranny always slipped after full stops.

1978 Datsun F10 hatchback - It ran okay, but it's got to
be one one of the top ten butt-ugliest cars ever, just
below the Pacer and the Gremlin.

That's what happens when you're not fully strapped in.

I have four for cars for your consideration:

1: a school bus (a short bus) saved from a salvage yard, with a salvage title & everything. I didn't even paint it, I just drove it around, yell. The lights were disabled, though.

...it was a short bus. Very fitting.

2: a 30 year old Chrysler Newport. The body was MINT but the engine was shot. The guy who owned it drove it to work and *died* at work. His widow didn't know he owned the car. My husband had seenthe car every day for about 6 months, and the tires had gone flat, and it never moved, so he inquired about it, and the widow gave us the title because she thought it was junk....

...and it was.

We drove it for a couple of months but the rings blew one day, spewing oil all over the place. We couldn't afford to fix up the engine because we were kids (I was about 20) so we sold it to someone else for next to nothing

3: An old, beat up Ford Torino with a busted motor mount. Whenever you hit the gas, the car would 'buck' and go from 0 to 60 in under a second.

4: a 1964 Ford with a push button transmission that the previous owner had painted with green porch paint.

Just imagine that one for a moment.

I actually have yet MORE, but yuou get the idea. I drove a lot of crappy cars in my day.

Here we go:

1. 1974 Monte Carlo, white w/red interior, a pretty piece of shit. Had an electric sunroof that every time after it rained when you hit the brakes you got a nice shot of cold water on the back of your neck. It also spewed blue exhaust no mattter what we did, STP, 50 wt. oil. I wound up selling it an ex-boyfriend, whereupon it exploded about 2 weeks later. Too bad he wasn't in it.

2. Not sure of the year but a Mercury Capri. The steering wheel would shake uncontrollably at any speed over 40 MPH. The only way to stop it was to jam on the brakes. Safe.

3. 79 Challenger, 383 w/a 4 barrel, alligator vinyl roof, 5 or 6 different colors of paint, was totally dogged but the guys dug it. Should have sold it when I had the chance. It got junked.

4. 1972 VW Bug that made an extreme right turn anytime you took pressure off the steering wheel. Lots of fun.

I now own a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, the payments are killing me but I feel safe & I love it.

That sent off bells. I bought a VW bug that was painted with a roller. It was yellow, had some sort of "leopard shag carpeting" as the interior, no interior handles on the doors and an 8-track. My buddy called it "a prom car".
When I opened the glove compartment 30 traffic tickets fell out.
