Remember the old Burger King promotion of Herb:The only man who's never had a whopper? It was such a dumb ass promotion.

Can anyone spot me some Herb?

That's a phrase I always hate to hear.

And to answer you're question, no. I have no clue what this commercial was. I only remember the 'where's the beef' lady.

the whole thing was it was this nerd who walked into BK's and if you spotted him on line, you'd win like $100.

There was a guy I went to college with who's dad
either owned or managed a Burger King. His dad let
him have this life-sized cardboard standing thing of
Herb. Whenever we were really high we'd just sit and
look at it and crack up. Shrooms with a disco ball and a
strobe light and Herb just standing there. Ah, the good
old days.

I remember that promo but it kind of faded away. Didn't it take place around the time of or in response to the "Where's The Beef?" lady?

i dont remember herb, but i do remember the mcdonalds menu song promotion with the records... does anyone else remember that? there was like a song about all the different mcdonalds foods, and they put it out on a record, i think they were 45s. i think i got mine from the newspaper. everyone in school memorized the song, and if you were cool, you'd sing it. i still kinda remember the part that went, "mc DLT, a quarter pounder with some cheese, fillet of fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger..." or something like that. it was really pathetic, but i do think it got us more interested in mcdonalds.

You mean this song?-

Big Mac, Mc Dlt, a Quarter-Pounder with some cheese
Fillet-o-Fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a Happy Meal
Mcnuggets, tasty golden french fries, regular and larger size
And salads, chef or garden, or a chicken salad oriental
Big Big Breakfast, Egg Mcmuffin, hot hotcakes and sausage
Maybe biscuits, bacon, egg and cheese and sausage, danish, hashbrown too
and for dessert hot apple pies and sundaes three varieties
A soft serve cone, three kinds of shakes, and chocolately-chip cookies
And to drink a Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, an orange drink, a Sprite,
A coffee (decaf too) a lowfat milk also an orange juice
I love Mcdonald's good time great taste
And I get this all at one place!
The good time, great taste... of McDonald's...

I never did like the expression "herb". Anyone who used it either sold short bags or had crappy ditchweed.

Strange, I'v never had a Whopper, and I'm no Herb, but I've been known to smoke it.
