I happened upon this website and thought I'd share. It's a pretty good history of the old Saturday morning cartoon.

Thanks for the website. I was a Superfriends junie when I was little and thank the holy lord that my prime for watching was the mid-80's when we had the Green Lantern and the Flash in the Hall rather than the mid-70's characters: ahem: Marvin? Wonder Dog? Who the hell were these hack-losers?!

What bugs me out is that the Wonder Twins hadn't appeared in ANY comic and were brought back for two other series runs. They didn't have any other DC heroes to fill the gap?

No matter how much you polish, decorate or dress up a turd...it's still a turd.

I have a friend who did voices on the 70s version on the show. He was really good at accents, so whenever any of the Superfriends saved a "villager" from another country, there's a good chance that my friend was doing the voice. However, as he tells me, the union, in an effort to expand the hiring of minorities, decided that all ethnic voices had to be done by a person of that same ethnicity. My friend was no longer needed to do multiple accents, so he stopped getting hired by the show.
