Today I went to see X2. Behind me some father was sitting with his kid. This kid was squealing like a little girl every time something even remotely exciting happened. He nearly pissed his pants in the first scene with Nightcrawler he was so scared. Then, everytime Nightcrawler was on screen, I had to listen to this dad reassure the kid that the scary thing would go away soon. I could sense the shame in this father's voice. After the film, I expected this kid to be like 4 or 5 years old, but this kid couldn't have been younger than 8.

So I ask, why the hell are little boys such sissies today?

in a related topic, why are parents bringing young kids to certain movies. when i went to see old school there were parents with the kids that were liek 5 and 6. its stupid and it ruins the atmosphere with the kids making all noises and shit

I was REALLY bothered by Augstus getting sucked up the tube and possibly into the furnace...I think I was 4 or 5 at the time...and yet, the boat ride didn't bother me at all...

That boat ride scares the hell out of me! I can't watch that part without having nightmares. The really sad part is my son laughs at me for this.
