Why is it that the snooze bar only resets the alarm for nine minutes? Why not ten? Is there a reason for nine minutes or is it just the product of a "9" fetish freak?

The people who initially invented the computer chip in the alarm clock saved time and money by only using one digit (the nine) as the amount of snooze time. So to maximize the amount of snooze time they used the largest one digit number-9- instead of 10........

i'm not a big fan of the snooze bar. if i i'm not up, then i'll just turn the clock off. but i always have to hit it for my guy when he sleeps over. he's too comatose to hear it.

I used to do the same thing Missy!!

But alas, I had to stop. I missed a test and final exam my freshman year because I kept my alarm clock next to my bed and I would turn the alarm off in my sleep. Now it's half way across the room so I have to get up and walk to turn it off. The sad thing is I've still turned it off and went back to sleep without knowing it (but I know I don't sleepwalk), boy did my boss not believe me when I told him why.

Aggie I do sleepwalk, I've thrown my blankets in the hall way, I've un-plugged my plug-in, I've moved my computer desk and I've turned my alarm clock off before it was scheduled and woke up late.
