I would hope that he agrees to some new contract.

The WWE isn't going to have him again. And there's really nowhere else, outside of Japan, where he can go to get good money and exposure.

And trust me, he won't exactly make it in Japan. It's been a LONG time since the ECW days.

He won't go anywhere from what I've heard. He is happy in TNA and the respect he gets from management.

If he is indeed holding out for more money, then he has a good reason. He is one of the most over wrestlers in TNA.

It's actually more about having Russo gain more power in the company than anything.

But on the other hand this may be the biggest work in the history of sports-entertainment.

The whole screwing of Raven from his destiny in the most important match in TNA history to increase the buzz and this alleged contract expiration maybe some sort of deal to increase buyrates further.

Who knows what lurks in the minds of Raven and Russo, TNA for that matter.

We maybe falling into their traps.

Here is an update:

According to the W.O. newsletter, Raven signed a contract a few days after the 4/30 TNA PPV.

So what they are doing now is a work.
