Where do you stand on the issue of jumbo candy bars?

"I'm not a big fan of the jumbo candy bars, though I would like to see a jumbo Clark Bar.

But jumbo Snickers, Milky Way, Butterfinger...it's overkill. When it's too big, you don't get the same taste sensation."

What's your opinion? We'd like to know.

True, it's not a bar per se, but it is candy and the three-pack would therefore technically count as "jumbo size".

This is an interesting discussion. I could eat like 20 Fun Size Snickers, but a whole jumbo one would get me a little sick of candy at the end of it. I actually still have half a jumbo Cadbury Milk Chocolate bar lying around. If it was all in Fun Sizes, it would probably be gone.

So to sum it up I guess that the jumbo size is a little too much candy. It also plays into our Obese society. Everything is Super sized and Jumbo. We need moderations and smaller portions. I HATE to use Europe as a model for ANYTHING, but they eat smaller portions and differrent food, and their obesity numbers are far lower than ours. It is just common sense eating that they seem to practice more than us.

The Big Kats are the best! I thought I wouldn't like something that big, but it ended up being very enjoyable.

What I can't eat is just a plain chocolate bar like Hershey's. Regular or Jumbo. That's just too much chocolate.

When I was a dirty, stinkin', overpriveleged, know-nothing college student, I didn't have my driver's liscence yet, so I had to spend most of the money I had on bus rides every day to/from Newark, and If I would have had a proper lunch in the middle of the day, it would have put me to sleep....

So Instead I'd have a King Size Snickers and 2 cups of coffee a day, and that would always keep me awake until I got home....

...Of course it destroyed my metabolism and I'll probably have a heart attack when I'm in my 30's, so It's probably not the best thing...
