MAN have I been let down as of late in the carbonated beverage department.

Pepsi Blue tastes like FUCKING ASS. This shit just makes my teeth hurt and coats my mouth and tongue in dye. Thanks assholes.

Vanilla Coke got old in like 4 bottles.

Mountian Dew Code Red gives me a headache after awhile.

I'm currently typing this post while enjoying a Dr. Pepper Red Fusion which I like. Maybe I like it BECAUSE IT TASTES LIKE FUCKING DR. PEPPER. What a crock.

The pressure is on man. My short attention span has turned to sports drinks again and if soda wants it back, they better get their shit together and WOW me with a flashy add campaign that backs a GOOD soda for once.

I like Pepsi "ONE" to me it has some taste that DIET doesn't. The best thing about Cherry Coke was with you filled up yoru glass half way with Cherry Coke and then added regular Coke the whole drink blew up like a VOLCANO. But if you did it the other way around it didn't explode.

I mix soda flavors all the time to see what kind of concoction(sp?) tastes best.

Dr. Pepper mixed with Mountain Dew isn't bad. Escpically since TACO BELL's soda machines are never mixed right with the syrup and carbonation.

I actually don't remember this nutter, can you refresh my memory? And do you remember what the orginal diet pepsi was called? Not Pepsi Free, there was one like in the early early 80's. Pepsi free came out around the back to the future time. Pepsi Lite maybe?

Who else thinks that Moutain Dew has survived for 20 years because of a great name? I mean, that sugary shit has absolutely nothing to do with mountains, by my fat assed youth self thought I was ready to do some mountain climbing drinking 200 calories in a 12 ounce can. And furthermore, I credit Dr. Pepper's run with the great "I'm a pepper, you're a pepper..". People heard those songs and drank that shit just to feel good and call themsevles a pepper.

If I were working for a soda company, I'd market Black Cherry. That was like cocaine in the 80's, and you could physically feel your teeth rotting as you drank it. Usually only availble as a store brand, my moms would bring it home in the summer time, and me and my brothers would knock back a case every day. Good stuff, never captialized upon by the cola companies.

Me personally, anything other than Coke or Diet Coke is a novelty. Why make orange Mountain Dew, we already have Sunkist? I mean, if you can't drink it at a meal, who needs it? Can you eat a steak and drink Coke? Of course. Try it with Mellow Yellow or Mr. Pipp. But I will represent, and offer up the one drink better than Coke

Snapple Clear Cola was the best Soda product I've ever had. Obviously subsequently ripped off with the vastly inferior "Crystal Pepsi", my suspiscion is that Pepsi bought out Snapple, since it disappear from shevles between 1989 and 1990, just prior to the Crystal Pepsi launch. God I wish they'd bring that back.
