I've been a coffee drinker for a couple of years now and I always had to get a 20oz. of regular coffee before I go to work in the morning. Recently though I've tried the Blueberry Cream flavor at 7-11 and now I can't get enough of the stuff. Every morning I think of the bit that The Kids in the Hall did where the guy gets addicted to Girly drinks and he starts carrying a blender around with him and the little umbrellas.

Thank goodness this is one thing I'm not hooked on yet, anyway. I drink about 4 Dr. Pepper's a day I don't need coffee too.

But that flavor sounds pretty tempting. I drink it every once in awhile but I'm consciously trying not to make it a habit.

here comes the flood.

IMHO - if you dont drink a normal, unflavored coffee with just milk, you're doing something wrong.

Regular :) And I can drink one when I wake up and right before bed and it won't effect me. I'm so immune to caffeine it's sad.

You sound like my wife - the only person I know who can have a cup of coffee as a nightcap, meanwhile if I whisper the name "bean" after 6pm it bothers me (though I think it's mostly psychological)

As for soft drinks, I really dont get much of a hit from sodas, unlike coffee. Not sure if the sugar high/low counteracts the effects of the caffeine (Wonder if Hoard King or Too Cute will comment on this effect)

phhhhbt. that's nothing. Wait till Chairman Kaga finds this thread and tell you about the refrigerator at the foot of the bed and the two - three cans of mountain dew he drinks in the middle of the night.

I need a coffee every morning to wake me up. Pepsi, coke, or mountain dew don't seem to do anything for me.

Normally I'll just have a cup with some kind of flavored cream and sugar. But I love a cappuccino too.

Try whispering "Black Adder," if that bothers you too, then you just have an aversion to Rowan Atkinson, not coffee...

of course at that point, you'd probably have a flood of issues to deal with, so you'd need the coffee...

Well I did see this thread so....

I agree with Bill. Good coffee with light cream. No flavor for me. I like Kenya AA; to me Jamaican Blue Mt. is overrated. I've had coffee with that liquid vanilla flavored Cremora, it takes good, but not like coffee, more like that Starbucks Frappucino stuff.

Caffeine does not effect me adversely, no jitters or stuff. I drink 6-8 double espressos a day and about 6-8 Mt. Dews. And yes, I have a little refrigerator at the foot of the bed and drink Mt. Dew in the middle of the night and sometimes find 2-3 empty cans and I don't even remember drinking them.

I love Dr. Pepper. Waco, Texas in the house. Aggie I hear in TX you can buy Dr. P in small bottles and they taste better.

Is it me or does the Dr. Pepper Red Fusion not taste that much different from the regular? Also Diet Dr. Pepper is the best diet (and I hate diet soda) IMHO. H for humble.

As a certified coffee junkie I feel like I have to post in this thread. I don't leave the house in the morning without downing half a pot. Then I usually stop somewhere mid-morning and grab another 16 ouncer. The rest of the day and evening I'll drink decaf, but it's Hazelnut. It's the only time I'll drink flavored coffee, because regular decaf tastes like shit.

PS - Gotta have half and half in the coffee.

If you feel your manhood is being compromised because you bought a cup of flavored coffee than yes you should have surrendered your balls a long time ago.

I only drink black coffee. I think I started off that way as some sort of macho thing, but I've grown fond of it and won't touch it with milk or sugar.. too phlegmy.

Luckily, my roommate works at Starbucks and I get a lot of it for free-ninety-nine. Also, we demo a couple of coffee makers at work and I get all the espresso shots and Illy coffee I can handle, which is a lot.

Occasionally, I'll go through a soda fix.. and I'll wake up in the middle of the night craving a soda. I swear I can get addicted to that stuff. It's as if I have to have a Mountain Dew.

Nowadays, when I go to a restaurant and can't drink for some reason, it's iced tea with no sugar.

i've always tried to stay away from coffee as much as possible, since i know it's not good for you and all that. but, this past year, i've found myself getting into the habit of having two or three of those really large deli cups a day. it's just bad. so, as of the past few weeks, i've been completely off of coffee. when i want something hot to drink, i go for some tea with a little milk. i have to confess, though, i did have a cup of coffee this morning, my first in two or more weeks.

I'm addicted to coffee, but I actually don't like it that much. I don't think I'd drink it if I didn't need it. It's more of a means to an end. Decaf coffee makes absolutely no sense to me. I'm at the sad state of my life where caffeine allows me to maintain, and it doesn't really get me wired. I can drink coffee or soda at night, and sleep without problems.

Oh yeah, and I drink it black only. No sugar, no cream.

Ah! I feel like the white man in the black ghetto! I've only had coffee twice in my life. I drink soda for a rush. I mostly drink Pepsi/Coke, Dr. Peper, and A&W Root Beer. Some nights I will drink a cup of tea so I can stay up for another hour. It just seems to give me a short rush, but I cant get any work done, because I have so much energy I can do other stuff.

Yes, I too love the Blueberry coffee at 7-11. Unfortunately there aren't any 7-11s near by. I used to be SO into the Dunkin Donuts, but not so much now. The best coffee is from Carlos' Bakery in Hoboken. I stop in on my way to work every moring. It's smooth and rich.

Milk, two Sweet n Lo's.

i always go with weapons grade freshly ground beans in one of those 3-piece metal italian espresso makers that you cook on the open stove flame. this makes about 2/3 of a pint glass of a most vicious coffee. a dash of sugar and some milk. its rough on the stomach sometimes, but it sure makes me type faster. i've also found that a couple benedryl gets rid of not only the sneezes, but the jitters...works the same as a benzodiazapam. that cant be good for me.... speedballing caffiene and antihistamines. Ah well, betty ford clinic....here i come.

Sounds like Liquid Cocaine, DL. I might have to try that
sometime. I had a Turkish (or was it Greek?) coffee at
a restaurant one night and was awake for 48 hours.

Usually, I'm just a simple Vanilla Latte kind of girl. But
descendant of White Trash that I am, I occasionally
need a plain old ordinary 7-11 coffee. Four sugars. No
cream.
