Any thoughts on what your team is going to do? As a Giants fan, if they can get any of the following guys in Round 1 (barring a trade-up), I'm happy:
Jonathan Sullivan, DT , Georgia
Chris Kelsey, DE , Nebraska
E. J. Henderson, LB , Maryland
Jerome McDougle, DE, Miami
Michael Haynes, DE, Penn State
Kwame Harris, OT , Stanford
Wayne Hunter, OT , Hawaii
Kenny Peterson, DE, Ohio State
This is my order of preference. Basically, I think the Giants need help at the line of scrimmage, primarily at defensive tackle (since Hamilton is probably done).
What about your team?

IM a big Giants Fan too, and i think EJ is a good pick for any team, he might not be their best option, because the LBs will be good for a few more years. They really need a DT bec ause I have heard wildly inconsistent reports of Keith Hamilton, and if he doesnt produce or doesnt come back he will need to be repalced. Also, Kenny Holmes is too inconsistent for my taste. Hes great for a couple weeks, then he sucks for a couple more.
My precious Steelers however desperately need a secondary, allthough they reuse to aknowledge, Chris Cash(if he's in the draft, i forget) or Mike Doss would make great Safeties in the NFL. Mike Doss should definately be high on their list of priorities, but they'll probably get another damn OL.

i'm a Chiefs fan and would like to see Boss Bailey fall to them...but i don't think the Rams will pass him up. then i would want McDougle from Miami. if neither of them nor one of the top 2 CB's are left..which they probably won't be, i would like to see them trade down and get more picks. they signed Barber and Holliday, but they still need help on defense.

i doubt it'll happen but if byron leftwich falls to 10 I sure hope the Ravens would be smart enough to take him and pass on Jordan Gross. I actually still think that they should trade down and take Kyle Boller at 19 or so and get picks for OL in the later rounds. Just for insurance in case chris redman continues to suck and hasn't improved like billick has said he has.
but they'll probably get another damn OL.
espn says they'll take Boller if he's available, but i hope not because i hate the dirty steelers

Here's a few possibilities I could see my Dallas Cowboys doing(assuming, of course, that the certain player is still available):
1) With the 5th overall pick, they draft Terrance Newman.
2) With the 5th overall pick, and Terrance Newman already drafted, the Cowboys draft Dewayne Roberston or Terrell Suggs or Byron Leftwich.
3) They swap trades with New Orleans for the 17 and 18th overall pick, and select any of these two: Kwame Harris, Jerome McDougle, Kyle Boller, Wayne Hunter, George Foster, Eric Steinbach, or Willis McGahee(I dont necessarily think McGahee is the best choice, but on the other hand in 3 years this guy will be phenomanel.)
4) They swap trades with New England for the 14th and 19th overall pick, and select any of these two: (see possibility 3)

This whole fascination with Kyle Boller really perplexes me. I know he's supposed to have great physical tools, but in his best year he completed 53% of his passes. I don't see how that's an impressive number for a college QB, especially in the largely defensively-challenged Pac-10. If I'm proven wrong, so be it, but I wouldn't be surprised if this guy is a bust.

once i saw the Eagles traded up i knew they were taking McDougle. the Chiefs were one pick away. i don't like all the Priest Holmes talk. i hope they go Boss Bailey.
If Boss Bailey is still there when the Giants pick, I don't see how they could pass on him.
EDIT: Chicago just sent a nice message of support to Kordell Stewart by drafting Rex Grossman.

Wow, the Steelers finally adressed their secondary problem (which they havent admitted since the AFC champ. against NE) I am soooo happy they got a safety, although it would have been nice if they got another one, they need two.
Also, I called the Giants. They got a DT like i said they would, but they should have gotten Boss or E.J. I cant beleive either of those two slipped that much. Incredible.

I'm a Rams fan since a kid and I think we did well and filled some gaps.
I also like the Jets and think they did really well.

At least for once the Jets were aggresive and it paid off, hopefully now we can move away from this awful offseason.

I think the Jets are going to be great this year. Anyone go to the games or have season tickets? I usually go to a few games. Too Cute has all these amazing ideas for a tailgate.
Now....do you think Kurt Warner is going to come back to form? What do you think of Buffalo's pick of Willis McGahee? Why did Boss Bailey slip so much? And what did I miss that made Chris Sims go so low?

And what did I miss that made Chris Sims go so low?
Hes alergic to pressure.
What i dont understand is how some fine defensive players can go undrafted.
Mike Waddel was one of the best cover corners in the country the past few years.
DeFonte Coleman was as good a safety in the draft.

Boller did go at 19....i'm good
I think the jets had a one player draft, i don't think they did all that much to impove other than robertson. The Bengals, Jags, and Lions had the biggest drafts in that they were actually able to get three very good players out of this jumbled draft.
I think the Ravens did well though. Suggs, Mughelli, Smith, and Sapp are all players i think that the Ravens got later than they deserved to go and i think they all look good. Boller is a bit of a gamble at three, but i wouldn't say the Pac-10 is weak defensively just based on the number of corners and safeties coming from the conference. Boller probably isn't that good, but i wouldn't say Grossman or Dorsey are either. Boller is confident and if there's anyone that can mold a QB into a good pro it's Billick. I think we'll see the Ravens win the North within the next 3 years.
oh yeah and does anyone know the situation with Justin Fargas and Malaefou MacKenzie at USC. Were they both HB's or was one a HB and one a FB?

I wouldn't necessarily say so, Hobson and Pagel should add some much needed depth to the Jets D. I think as far as the team goes they are in pretty good shape on D, and Pennington should do well with Moss and Chrebet. Only time will tell.

this is completely opinion based, but to be quite honest i dont think anyone drafted better than detroit this year, and it might take mooch a lil while to get things going but when he does, they're gonna be nasty.

2 Aggie's went in the first round, yay. And the Giants didn't do too bad either. I love football, it's too far away.
And what did I miss that made Chris Sims go so low?
He's a fucking Longhorn who lived off of his dad's name, that's why.
