how do you express these feelings in a picture

i know this is a weird subject, but its one thought of my day that might start a discussion that could help us all

usually when im feelin extremely about something i write about it or draw it...
for happiness you can draw a smile, sunny day, heart, whatever
for sadness a sad face, gloomy, etc

but when your feelin lost, lonely, confused, etc how do you express those feelings in a picture

AMY - Expresssing emotions through art is a personal thing; There's no right or wrong answer.

Sometimes an artist will draw people without faces, things that are somehow vaugue, reflective surfaces that distort shapes, buildings towering in the background, (almost leaning in towards the center), and things facing away from the viewer.

Draw or paint the way you feel and you can't go wrong.
