Bob Hope is 100? Poor Bastard.

I watched a few minutes of Bob Hope's Birthday special on NBC (I think) to try to hear if he's still alive or if he'd just be 100 today. I didn't hear anything that would make me believe he was dead, so I guess he's still living.

Now I like Hope too, but MAN this is prime example of how money can keep you alive for too long.

Imagine this poor guy's quality of life. And worse yet would be if his mind was still relativly sharp, but his body is pretty much done.

So here's a happy one for Bob Hope. I just hope he's not suffering somewhere for no reason other than our need to keep people alive as long as possible when it was clearly their time long ago.
