My mother tryies setting me up with losers

Let it be known I am an adult. I do not mind people trying to set me up with people.
BUUUUT my mother always tries to set me up with losers who have no job, stupid, and
usually nutty. This just shows me my mother thinks no one is too bad for me. I know
the ladies I date there parents always feel they can do better than me. I would like
once for my mother to tell me she found a girl for me but I can do better. Apparently
even inn my mothers mind I am a LOSER!!!!!!!!!

Although I don't know your mom, people in similar situations frequently misinterpret their mother's intentions.

She may be trying to set you up with a "nice girl." How does she define "nice?" By what her friend tells her.

It's possible that she is being duped into thinking these women are prizes, not losers.

I suggest you discuss this with her, and if you don't achieve a satisfactory resolution (i.e. making sure she learns more about the girl before setting you up), tell her that although you appreciate her efforts you don't want to be set up.

Thanks for the advice Horde King but the last girl my mother tried setting me up with
is my brothers ex who I told her on numerous occasions that I thought she was stupid
and a tad crazy. My brother dumped her because he said she was the most boring
girl he ever met. After hearing these glowing endorsements she thought that would
be the perfect girl for me.

I did have a talk with her but I am sure she thinks any girl willing to go out with me is
just great because she does not think that much of me.......

If that's your mom's true opinon of you and her assessment of your "dating potential" it's a good idea to never go out with anyone your mom sets you up with. She'll get the hint eventually - sooner if you tell her.

It's also important that you don't internalize your mom's feelings. She may have this opinion, but it's just an opinion, not a fact. Don't let your mom's negativity bring you down. You'll meet a nice woman despite your mom's best intentions.
