ok im sure most wont care or grasp this but i need to vent...

i put my dress in to see if it would get into our school fashion show...

it didnt..but teh reasoning o got on the feed back was unclear..it stated that my FLY FRONT ( meaning zipper ) was not finished....

I DID A GOWN...there are no fly front zippers in a ball gown

well i told my self not to get my hopes up but i did i guess...

i dont take rejection too well and i feel defeated...how CAN i get over this??? i just feel like failure

my advice would be to smoke heavily. i'll try to help you out from here.

but hey they could of told you it didn't make it cause it was god awful and the maker of it deserves to die. you only got something about a zipper. i'm sure you'll do fine next time, don't even sweat it.

I DID A GOWN...there are no fly front zippers in a ball gowntell me if i'm misreading this, but it seems to me that they made some kind of mistake. maybe you should get in touch with these judge people and find out what they were talking about when they referred to this non-existant zipper on your ball gown. it's worth clearing up, i'd say.

further, i think it's great that you tried. everything's not always going to work out the way you want (and you alrready said that you knew it was a longshot), but you've got to try. rejection blows, but it won't always be that way. just keep going, and hopefully the next thing will go better

Even if this doesn't turn out to be a mistake (the whole zipper in the front part) & the judges didn't like your design...take heart in knowing that many a genius wasn't recognized in their early attempts. Greatness may very well still be on your horizon.

Maybe you submitted your ball-gown to the cross-dressing fashion panel on mistake. A fly in the front would come in handy for those folk.

YAY!! here' s the 4-1-1...i brought my dress back to school today and asked my teacher (who was also a judge) to clarify the the rejection comment...she said THIS IS THE WRONG PAPERWORK..YOURS GOT IN! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! i hopped up and down cuz I AM in the show.... i discussed the matter with an other prominent teacher and she said it was true that I WAS IN THE SHOW...yippee skippee
