Fighter jets flying over DC last night

Did anyone else hear what sounded like fighter jets flying over northern Va last night. I was at work (Mclean) at 11pm and heard a thunderous roar outside our office a few times. Then about an hour later I continued to hear them flying over my house in Springfield. Does anyone know what was going on last night? Did anyone else hear them?

I live in the flight path of Reagan National so it's hard for me to notice.

I live in Andrews Air Force Base's flight path so I couldn't tell either. Sorry:(

I've noticed jets flying over DC and a lot of NoVA since 9/11...it's pretty common now, and makes me feel better...
