at the end of this week, all the seeds will b decided...so who do u think is gonna be left at the end of the tourney?

im betting on sacramento or dallas. dallas plays streaky ball, i dunno if there zone defense can stop any of the big four.

but sacremento is my odds on favorite. last year it was a close serieswith la. but last year the sac also had a less than healthy stojakavic. thi stime peja will the deciding factor, he comes to play uve gotta give the rings to the kings. plus the last year the kings lost due to missing freethrows...this year its whole new ballgame.....

I just saw George Karl whining about the refs. What a fucking bitch. The Bucks shot 15 free throws in the fourth quarter, the Nets shot 4. Did he see Kukoc taking 9 steps on the tying basket and not getting called for traveling? Or the two other times he traveled in the fourth? Did he see Payton get the call on the flop he did with 2 minutes remaining? Did he see Cassell shove Collins and not get a technical foul? Did he see the taunting Payton was getting away with all game long? No coach can make excuses like Karl. That's the only reason he is still coaching.

Have the Lakers ever won a close playoff game where they didn't get a highly questionable call in a crucial moment? I am so sick of them. As I type this, Garnett gets called for a foul when he doesn't even touch anybody. This is worse than when Mike Bibby got called for a foul for having his head in the way of Kobe's flying elbow.

EDIT: Garnett needs to stop taking fadeaways. Devean freaking George is guarding him. He should be wrecking this shit up. But he's really stepping up in crunch time.

Everytime I try to get into the NBA Playoffs I watch a game like tonight's Timberwolves-Lakers game. In the final minute Sczerbiak gets called for a foul on a Kobe three when he didn't even touch him. Sczerbiak practically gets pulled out of bounds by Fox and there is no call. Even the announcers are saying what a fucking tragedy this whole mess is. Is it so much to ask for the refs to call not on reputation but on the game they are watching? Not to mention the constant complaining by players in the Bucks-Nets game. Why do great game in the NBA playoffs ineviatbly get bogged down by unneccessary calls? It's so frustrating. I should just stick with the NHL.

bad calls are made, sure, but 90% of the time its because a team is facing the Lakers and the refs have some friggin love affair with shaq and kobe. its disgusting how many ridicuously stupid calls are made against teams facing the Lakers. yes but the nba is always in love with teams during their dynasty. do u remember what they used to do for jordan? game 6 in 98, was a gift wrapped championship. they allow ron harper,s 2 pointer to count for 3, and hornacek's 3 counted as a 2. and bulls won that game by one point.....if the proper calls had been made there wouldve been a game 7. and dont misconstrue this as me loving the lakers.......................cuz i really, really dont. but still all u ppl who hate the lakers dont worry.............sacramento or dallas will stop them =)

and the zone defense has proven to b occasionally effective...........but dallas is an offensive juggernaut....there is no more potent offense in the NBA. dallas can beat LA. i believe that, otherwise i wouldnt have bet on them to win it all in september......

No the Kings have no shot. It looks like every game the NBA refs are trying to help the Lakers win. Maybe if they fall behind 3-2 David Stern will make the series best of 9 best of 11. hey nets fans....dont celebrate too hard. this was about as much luck as skill. if stephen jackson hit that wide open shot the finals would b all but over. and ur zone isnt nearly as effective as dallas was against the spurs. dallas played a magnificent collapsing zone, you only collapse on duncan when hes about to take a shot, and your gonna get strips like that, but u cant win a series like that.

I think the ball hit the rim first, so it didn't matter. It looked bad because Kidd hit it almost as it hit the rim and caught the net. Even if it was technically goaltending, I don't think a ref would have the balls to call it unless it was blatant and the ball was goin in anyway. That shot was way short.
