They've announced on the air that they'll accept requests at the AIM screen name - blinkline - and that the first song they play in the new format tonight will be whatever gets the most votes online, and they'll be all request for the rest of the night.

I'm guessing there are more people on this board than paying attention to 102.7 right now, especially people sitting in front of a computer. So, if everyone here IMed blinkline with a request for Ron and Fez back, well, they probably wouldn't do it, but at least it'd annoy the hell out of them.

You know, it's amazing. I have been watching this site for months, just signed up about 10 minutes ago. The truth is simple. Here is New York radio summed up. Imus sucks. He always has. Stern came about and brought something fresh to the air. But lately, he has become stale and repetetive. This may draw some heat from others, but O&A are a cheap Stern ripoff. Face it. There is no getting around that fact.

However, it is without question that Ron & Fez are the most brilliant broadcasters to have ever hot radio. They are original. They have come up with ideas that have never been shared before. Dare I say they are geniuses. And now they have been taken from us in NY, probably forever. Now we have another crapola "pop music" station. Fuck 102.7.
I hope they fail miserably. I hope I get transferred from work to DC just so I can hear them again. I just hope the crack addicts, crooked politicians, and gangsters appreciate what they got in DC.

I miss Ron & Fez.

Well, I guess this was coming to me for all of my Ron & Fez song requests - not to mention the long scrolling comments (tastefully done) requesting they bring them back.
It seems the blinkline blinkbot has banned me from any more requests. No matter how many times I try, I am now getting the following message:
