Great comic movie. Great 80's movie. Decent soundtrack. It's a movie that has sort of been forgotten about with all this "best comic movie" talk, so i decided to give it it's own thread. And besides, it's too classic to be compared with modern comic movies.

The music is great. Otherwise, I've never been into this movie that much. I remember when it was released in the theatres. I was like 6 or 7 and it came out the same day as Popeye. I was so excited about seeing Popeye. This kid that I was friends with kept on telling me how much better Flash Gordon was that Popeye. I got upset and cried.

that movie was so bad, in a good sort of way (or is it good in a bad sort of way???)

got caught by the wife watching it a couple of sundays ago (was on like 10am) and got my chops busted - but hell if she didnt sit thru the end with me

They play Flash alot on Action Starz one of the Starz movie channels and i watch it almsot everytime its on unless its conflickes with a showing of josie and the pussycats

i always get nervous when they stick there arms in the holes to be tested or stng by that thing its very stressfull

Great comic movie.



Only to be outdone by it's previous rendition entitled "Flesh Gordon".Everyone's ray gun was shaped like a penis.Character carried monikers like 'Dr.Jerkoff' instead of Dr. Sarkoff(?)......ect.

A true soft porn classic.
