Lemieux - constant whining about clutching and grabbing. If you're going to complain, do it behind closed doors, not to the press. My memory of Mario - '93 Playoffs, First Round - John MacLean did such a good job of shutting down Mario with the clutch and grab, Mario gets mad and sits on MacLean. The ref looks at Mario - no penalty. Mario is forever on my hate list. Play the same game everyone else plays.

Gretzky - always needed a body guard. Got protection from the refs because he was good for the game. Granted, if you lined up Wayne or Mario for a hit, you'd wind up missing beacuse they were that quick. Again, the point is, play the same game everyone else plays.

Even if Wayne and Mario never played, I still would have been a hockey fan. I fell in love with the game before they started playing.

As for the Mickey Mouse comment, there's no ill will because Gretzky runs a Mickey Mouse team now.

Well last year after his first few good starts he was...um...HORRIBLE. He single handedly ruined the Mets' season(with a little bit of help from Alomar, Burnitz, Cedeno...Estes...Leiter...oh and Ordonez...and all the teams in their division...bastards)
Ok seriously he pitched horribly and really pissed me off last season giving up runs after runs and hits after hits...after hits...ok you get the point...now then have I justified myself enough to continue to hate him?
