View Full Version : Banking... to the MAX!

I heard some new commercial for a bank that promises banking.. to the MAX! It was even accompanied by some rockin' guitar riffs. I know that when I think about making important financial decisions, I want them to be to the EXTREME!

I think the whole X-Games, climbing sheer cliff faces, Mountain Dew lifestyle has jumped the shark.

I agree, maybe we should come up with some new, hipper term.

How about.. floated the biscuit?

Married the Chachie?

Topped the muffin?

I know I would feel safe when my banker jumps out of planes on snowboards while his buddy throws his shoot out of the plane and races down to catch up to it just before they both try to maneuver themselves into a hot air balloon so they can bungee jump out of the bucket and cut the cord to high dive into a 4 foot deep ravine on the weekends.

Plus I like when I enter the bank they all greet me with a friendly "haaa dude I'm so stoked to help you bro!"

all this talk about banking makes me think of a Bank comercial I hear on the radio for Astoria Savings. Their slogan for checking accounts "Free and Easy" Then yesterday on the train I noticed a billboard for Astoria Savings. Its was a picture of a woman sitting down or somehting with a Bright smile, and above her head was the slogan "Free and Easy" kinda like this
Kinda makes you think a bit about what they're really giving away

Yeah, extreme is way played out.

I give the fad of adding dried berries to cereal about six more months. But that Special K with Red Berries...love it!

Is there really anything worse then adult males using "lol, ttyl, omg, lmao, or wtf"? Even worse is the stupid smiley faces. I think the only time a man should use them is when they are talking with a chick.

"Im ready turnit upanoch"...
