the original Ninja Gaiden ruled. ..i also liked Rygar which was out around the same time. Track and Field at the arcade was my favorite...though the rolling ball gave me nasty blisters. my favorite old time video game though was Kaboom for Atari. simple enough, but very addicting. it was one of the few games my dad was able to figure out and play. that made it more fun as a kid

Sorry, Final Fantasy would never be on a top ten list of mine, I don't play RPGs.

I don't like random battles, taking the short way out and not making an overworld, and the fact that I can go take a shit during a boss battle and I don't have to pause it. You go, ok Mr. Final Boss, I'll let you hit me, then I'll hit you, then you hit me...RPGs are not for me.

Zelda is totally different from FF. and FF VI was the best of all the FF's. That's why Anthology goes for 60 dollars and you can find FFVII for 15.

Since I'm both a Zelda and FF freak, I won't even compare the two. It's like comparing apples to assholes. Or shoving an apple into an asshole. It's all fun and games til someone loses an eye.

back to the ff-zelda dispute....ff is a story driven game i mean i was absorbed into cloud's world (ff7) the grafix from any square game cannot be touched...the same for the music....but the story in zelda just seems gay...im cant stadn the damsel in distress story i mean just let the bitch die.!!!!!i dont care if ganondorf is gonna rape u and then eat all you babies......

ff's are about strategy...u cant defeat Sin without a shitload of planning... and FF's usually give a shitload to do....i mean every FF gives u a world to have fun with.....
plus ff gives u teh greatest characters.....cloud,squall, tidus, zidane,tifa, vincent, amarant, cid ,zell, rinoa, irvine, wakka, lulu, yuna...the list keeps going......and great characters give u great games...
