The Nature Boy

OK, I"m diggin in the vault here, but I think I"m in the right place looking for help. Does anyone remember, where the Target Store stands in Fairfield, NJ, a complex that hosted Samsons Supermarket and Wuv's fast food? This is when I was a wee tyke, probably 5 or 6 years old in 1982 or 83, when it closed. It was renovated into the American Way Mall, before giving way to the Target that stands there today. Since I was so little, I remember little about these places, but I know Wuv's was where it was at for burgers. I believe there was also one in the Clifton/West Patterson area on Route 46, but I"m not certain. And the Samson's store was sort of a precursor to the modern price club, just a giant ass warehouse store that was monstorous, at least for a kid. Any recollections, reflections or remembrances, or was my youth a collective halucination?
