Sunday Night Anxiety

I hate Sunday nights. Sunday nights blow. Every Sunday night I get this sense of dread. It's not a panic attack, I'm not hyperventillating or anything, it's just this shit feeling. Is it just me?

Not one specific night all the time, but yes, I get that feeling sometimes.

It that "I'm going to die alone in this room because I'm not doing anything with my life or meeting anyone" feeling that takes your breath and knots your stomach.

Lucky Don and Mike reruns don't air during that time or I'd be reaching for the razor in no time.

Always hated trying to fall asleep on sunday night. I cant fall aslep until at least 2am. I think its due to me waking up late on Sat and Sun mornings

I work a 4 on, 2 off schedule so I get the anxiety every 6 days.

I used to get this all the time. Performance anxiety pre work. No one would call me on Sunday nights cause it was my "brood" night.

But then I get to work on Monday and everything always seems ok.

I try and make it my down time night. From 7pm till midnight. I just want to relax and chill out. I have worked all week, then I have done shit around the house all weekend. Now I just want to relax for a few hours before I have to do it all over again next week.

It sucks not having the Sopranos and the Practice on Sundays anymore. Those were 2 hours to veg in front of the tv.

I can never get to sleep on Sunday night until about 3am. It sucks. No matter when I wake up it happens every week and I feel crappy all day Monday.

Plus I usually lay in bed hungover on Sunday afternoons watching bad Lifetime movies. That can't be good either.

just talking about this last nite....i think this may be a worldwide phenomenon....sunday nights at around 6:00 pm I start to get that same depressed feeling...falling asleep is hard to do b/c when you fall asleep it seems like all of a sudden 15 minutes go by and its time to get up...whereas if you stay awake its like you are at least prolonging the onset of something bad (a week of work)

i've always had problems falling asleep on Sundays. Now I either pop a tylenol pm or smoke a little and I'm able to fall asleep.

This past week was Spring Break at my college, which I also work at as a subcontracted webmaster, so I got the week off from classes and work. Starting on Saturday I started to get that "I did nothing with my week off" feeling, and it continues today. I fucking hate that.

I know how you feel. I get that Bag of Shit feeling Sunday nights too. Its that feeling of the end of the weekend, and back to work. Mondays are killer too cause mu body is so used to being up until 6- 7 AM and going to sleep around 11 or so just doesnt work.
