Remember Stiv Bators, Cheetah Chrome and Johhny Blitz, the drummer who was stabbed?
I saw them at CBGB a few times and it was always a fun show. Always late, always obnoxious and loud and very underrated.
"Young, Loud and Snotty"=Great album!

Yeah, one of the funniest pictures I ever saw back then was one of Stiv Bators setting his dick on fire, onstage. It was in Cream.

" and they ask me why I drink"

"Sonic Reducer" is probably one of the greatest punk songs of all time.

"All this and more" is a classic.

I saw them at the Ritz on Halloween way back in '86, Stiv did the vag bit.

The last time I saw Stiv alive was when Cheetah Chrome opened for Johnny Thunders at the old Ritz. (I think it was one of the last shows there) Stiv came out at the end of Cheetah's set and they did a few Dead Boys gems. I think he died right after.

"Caught with the meat in your mouth" should be Fez's theme song.

My favorite Stiv Bators memory was a music news
report that he was backstage at some awards show,
making out with original VJ, Martha Quinn.
