what's your favorite body of water to swim in?
Pool - is cool
Ocean - too salty and sharks too
Lake - cool til you get out deep, it's dark and cold out there
when i was a teen i would swim in the Hudson from pier to pier, but wouldn't suggest it...

The ocean is my choice, I still love to get beat up by the waves. The oddest experience was swimming in the Great Salt Lake. When I first got there I thought it was a place that "lepers" came to "for a cure". Everyone emerges from a swim with a white salt crust over their body. When you swim you are much higher up in the water than ever before and if you dive under the water your eyes burn like you've been maced (I imagine).

I love the ocean and prefer it miles above the pool. The ocean has a nice current and wave that you can ride. In a pool the only thing to kkep it clean is a filter that is set more to conserve energy.
you have two choices: Castration or a one way ticket to New York

have to say I'm a little befuddled...
filter / save energy?

are you someone that can float on the water?
that's one thing that I could never do and still can't. I've seen people laying flat on their backs on top of the water. My legs never stay afloat and the rest of the body follows.

Lake - cool til you get out deep, it's dark and cold out there
It may be cold and dark in a lake, but I would much rather take a boat out on a lake and swim than go in right off of the shore. I hate not being able to see what I am stepping on in a lake to mushy, muddy, and there to much crap to step on in a lake.
I prefer swimming in the ocean riding waves all day. Swimming in the carribbean is also nice because the water is so clear and warm, it is like walking into bath water.
When it comes to pools I prefer built in pools instead of above ground pools. I remember as a kid one of my friends kicked out the side of an above ground pool we all took off before the thing split open and broke.
Luckily they were able to fix without to much trouble.
Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.
Ok let's get the boys back live in NY. Don't give up the fight.
