I agree with Irish, but what they could have done(and I"m shocked hasn't happened) is do what Stern did when he was between gigs after getting the ax at WNNNNNNNNBC, and do some kind of modified standup comedy gigs with the whole gang(Rick, Norton, etc). I'm sure there's a contractual impediment to doing just that, but at least get the word out that there is a reason why they've been so low profile.

Why O&A owe the people of ronfez.net:

People like to get on Stern for not agreeing to let any other talkers on the same station as him here in NY. But, what O&A did was way worse. They killed any show that had a chance of building a successful station at NEW. A lineup of Sports Guys, the Chick, D&M, O&A, and R&F could have been reasonably successful. But because of Opie's huge ego, he drove the Chick and D&M from the station, killing any chance that NEW had of building an audience.

If, when O&A pulled their S4S stunt, a real schedule was in place, it is very probable that either NEW would have supported O&A, and not cancelled them, or that the station would have been doing well enough to live without O&A. When you look at the failures of NEW, blame the management, becaue they let this shit happen, but O&A are way at fault here too - they are the reason we don't have Ron and Fez.
