I got totally FUCKED by these assholes today. I pre-ordered my Game Boy Advance-SP 2 fuckin' MONTHS ago, and tomorrow was supposed to be the long awaited day I'd get my hands on that sucker. Well guess what... GameStop decided they were too cool to play by the rules, so they started selling their GBA-SP's TODAY. They just felt like SELLING them as SOON as they got them, instead of waiting for release day. So I go in to make sure my GBA will be available tomorrow, and they say "Oh, we've already started selling them. Do you have a pre-order slip?" I pull it out of my wallet excited, thinking, "Score, I'm gonna get it a day early!" The douchebag comes back and tells me they only have PURPLE ones left, and no silver! I AIN'T TAKING NO FUCKING PURPLE SYSTEM! I pre-ordered 2 months in advance, only so THEY could break the rules, and cheat me out of getting it on release day. Fucking irresponsible douchebags.
BOYCOTT GAMESTOP.
GO TO THEIR MAIN COMPETITOR Electronics Boutique (EB)!
Or if you'd like, just go to Toys R Us, or amazon.com or something. What a bunch of shmucks.

i get everything the day b4 its supposed to b released...games..cds..dvds...... i prefer getting my shit early so im glad that gamestop sold it early too.. all thsoe other ppl are satisfied.. u should learn never preorder... just get their early the day it comes out or in my case the day b4 it comes out

Theyre idoits anyway. I once pre-ordered NHL Hits 2003 b/c if you preordered you got a special mcfarlane chris pronger figure. I went the day of its release & when i asked about the figure, they knew nothing. Lucky for me i printed out the info from spawn.com about and i made them got in the back and check. sure enough they came out with one and they tried to tell me it was the only one they had (maybe b/c i was they only one who preordered that shit).

The upside of this was the cashier must have been new b/c he put the figure on top of the game and only charged me for the memory card i had also purchased. So i got a $50 game and figure for free and only paid for the memory card.

...but they still suck b/c they never have shit when i go.

I wish I could boycott Gamestop. There are three videogame stores in my mall and ALL of them are owned by Gamestop. There's Gamestop, Planet X, and Funcoland.

i went to gamestop the day vice city came out. they said they only had copies for people who preordered, then a second later said fuckit, it's almost closing time and we have a ton that people haven't picked up. so, i just filled out a preorder slip, i guess for paperwork purposes, and they sold it to me on the spot. i don't think i'll boycott, thanks.

I went to Gamestop today and bought 3 of the silver ones as gifts. One of the customers said something about people who pre-ordered them. The clerk said something to the effect "Screw them assholes" I don't know nothing!!!!

sorry to hear about your screwing but i hate EB's and gamestop is 100% better then them. i worked for them for afew months . and i loved it. everything i preorder i get ether a day before or the offical day.
