Just was wondering why sometimes easter falls in late march, sometimes in april. This year it falls on the 20th of april. I heard because its due to the lunar calendar. can anyone confirm this?

it's not lunar, because passover is, and that fluctuates more than easter does......... just an interesting tidbit for you the last supper was actually a passover seder(ceremony) so easter should technically fall the sunday during passover, but it doesn't. go figure.

It's the first Sunday after the first moon after the vernal equinox. Tonight is a full moon, the vernal equinox is the 21st. So, the Sunday after a month from tonight is Easter.
