WTF? PITT #2?

okay guys, i know im two days late with this but i was hoping people could get some reactions here, out of the 4 number 1 seeds ONE of them won both their Conference in the regular season and the Conference Tourney and that would be, my pick to win it all Kentucky, why the hell did Pitt get snubbed? not that im saying a #2 seed is bad im just saying i believe they deserve more i mean they were only the second team in the major conferences to win their tournament and the regular season title....what are your thoughts?

Being from pittsburgh, originally, i must say that the last two seasoms of pitt basketball have been wonderful. it is rediculous that they did not get a #1 seed, especially in the east. Oklahoma state definately dont deserve it.

plus. pitt ould have tough competiton in the east(louisville, wake forest), but they would ahve a much better chance to make the finale 4. in the midwest, they will most likely have to go through kentuvky to make the FF. But, KY could be upset, the #1 seed can be a bit of a curse.

sorry about the essay, but, i have a lot of thought about my beloved panthers.

march 27th would be what the second round? who do you think in that bracket is gonna be Pitt in the second round? if you ask me Kentucky has the easiest run to the Final Four and that the only real competition they'll have in their bracket is Pitt, your tellin me that Syracuse gets to practicly play home games and pitt cant even get a number one seed, thats just not right.

When i spoke about easy brackets, i meant from Pitts POV. Kentucky definately has a pretty easy bracket in the midwest. They could be upset early, but most likely they will have to paly pitt, and they will probably win if they can play better defense. In all of pitts 4 losses, i think their biggest loss was to georgia, and that was less than 10 points. they will come and play defense no matter what, but if their offense gets shut down, they will struggle.

anyway, they would probably have the easiest time in the east, but there are teams with easier brackets

ok first oklahoma state does not have the #1 seed. Oklahoma does and the reason is that they have been consistent proformers all year with an all america guard in hollis price. If any of the seeds did not deserve it was texas but such is the breaks and i thought that pitt should have been a #1 seed, but with questions again before the tournament about Brandon Knights ankle may have hurt them. And easiest bracket may be the east. Wake Forest is extremely overrated and always disappoint in the tournament, but Syracuse is a conteneder to go to the final four and so does Louisville playing that Pitino defense

i completely agree about Texas being the weakest seed #1 out of the four, but they came out of the best conference in the country and ill give it to them...and no offense but Marquette is gonna come into to this tournament emotionally screwed cause of what happened in the Conference USA tourney and as much as i love Quinn, Mizzou will not beat Pitt, they dont have the team for it and they dont have the defence, although i do have them getting to the Sweet Sixteen, but Marquette wont get past missouri, duane wade or no duane wade.
