I know that the word "genius" is thrown around alot these days but let's face it, is there a better singer/songwriter/arranger on the planet? The best.

Stevie absolutely blows me away. God forbid "Signed, Sealed, Deliviered" or "Superstition" comes on the radio when I'm driving; it's petal to the metal all the way. The same goes for "Living For The City", "Master Blaster", "Higher Ground", and countless others. The man is so damn funky.

He also wrote one of the saddest songs ever - "I Never Dreamed You'd Leave In Summer". Hide the pills and any sharp objects when listening to that one.

I don't think anyone will take the "no" side of this discussion. even if they don't like his music, you have to admit that he is brilliant

"I Wish" is one of my favorite songs of all time.

The man is talented as a singer, musician, arranger and producer. In addition to his own work, it was Stevie Wonder who "rediscovered" one of the greatest R&B groups: The Spinners. In 1970, he wrote, played piano, bass and drums, and did the horn arrangements for their first big hit, "It's A Shame."

Stevie Wonder has such a unique voice. gotta love all his songs. too bad these days we are forced to hear all this Nelly and 50 cent crap about drinking crystale and 24 inch chrome rims

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

Agreed.

Now...my friends and I always debate which is his best album.

I say Innervisions and don't even think its close for #2 but a lot of my peeps say SITKOL is the best.

My only complaint is with the person who dresses him. Who puts those flower pots on his head?

I love stevie, but I'm not a big fan of his later stuff. Some of his singles in the 80's and the 90's I couldn't get into.

I love you, aggie.

"A Place in the Sun" is my Stevie Wonder favorite.

stevie wonder is indeed a musical genius. recently i have been listening to the box set, at the close of a century - one of the best stevie wonder compilations. it is a total mood lifter.
