What happened to Bad Ronald?

In the late summer of 2001, there was a catchy rap song called "Let's Begin" by Bad Ronald.

The video featured a kid's show gone wrong, with nubile teens in their bras and panties playing with a barney-like mascot.

The MP3 of the song I have is dated 9/7/01.

Could it be that the events of 9/11 and the aftermath totally destroyed the music career of Bad Ronald? I mean, one hit wonders usually have SOME shelf life, I heard stuff from Harvey Danger and other bands "trying again" after their first hit, but I've heard NOTHING from Bad Ronald since then.

Maybe the fact was, 2 months of hell post 9/11 crippled America's need for a catchy song toting pot use and beer drinking.

Any takers?

BAD RONALD got dropped by Warner Brothers. No real drama, just lost their deal like a million other bands.

Some members are in a newer band called COOLER KIDS.

Doug Ray is still working and writing for POPROXX studios.

there was a made for TV Movie called "Bad Ronald"... I distinctly remember it because it has my first name in the title...

He was a guy who lived in a hidden room inside the walls of a house. There were 3 daughters in the family that moved in and he was basically a "Peeping Ron". He had a picture of himself on the wall dressed as a prince and he was looking for his Princess...

Yeah, a real perv, kind of like me except i used binoculars from our 4th story window. Only thing i ever caught was a topless lady in the window across the street and some little guy was playing with her breasts, then she got up and got her top on... DAMMIT!
