What the hell is that supposed to mean? Do you think they should pack it in?
Ron and Fez will do fine.

and how long did it take the spunk junkies to get to # 2? I'd bet all the dope in china that it took a while for the Junks to get there.
btw , golf is borring,
TALKING about golf on the radio is fucking stupid..
Nah, The Junks are cool, but as far as RF go,
give em time, A true loyal hardcore fanbase will continue to grow..
so whats the numbers like for the junks at whfs?
dude golf talk at 6am is going to push road rage to an all time high.

Actually the junkies ratings on WHFS are very far above what HFS has ever had. They gained 8 whole ratings points since the last book and are now 3rd and are steadily taking listeners from both Stern and Elliott, and will be #1 in D.C. mornings very soon.

yeah, deek, they should quit. I didn't post it just for everyone's information. I posted it because I think this will get them to quit, like the boys don't already know it.

Hold on everyone. The boys are doing fine. If you listen to the calls there are a lot of different people listening to the show.
Give the boys a few ratings books. The numbers will rise and the boys will be right up in the top 5 at night. The urban stations will always have the number 1 spot but Ron and Fez will be right up there.
People need to spread the word. Has anyone else noticed the increase in female DC callers.
As mentioned in other threads we need to promote the message board also. Too bad WJFK in Baltimore picked up Lyckis instead of Ron and Fez.
KEEP THE FAITH> THE NUMBERS WILL RISE.
Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.
Ok let's get the boys back live in NY. Don't give up the fight.

There is always a dip in ratings when things change. I don't know about anyone else but I hated R&F when they first came to NY. In fact, I hated O&A too! But now, I'm an A.F.R.O. flunkie. Like it was said before, give 'em time. DC will catch on. Then, the world!

What is a shame is that the low numbers might have been the reason why Infinity left the boys off of the Baltimore FM talk lineup.

It took them awhile, I'm sure. They did have some heavy-duty support from D&M early
on, but they did take a ratings hit when D&M left.
The only thing worse than Golf talk at 6am is FANTASY SPORTS talk at 6am! eeeesh!
Knowledged_one - "Actually the junkies ratings on WHFS are very far above what HFS

YES! YES YES!
BlacNumbr9 - "I don't know about anyone else but I hated R&F when they first came

I've loved R&F since day one of them on in DC.
Quinn - 'What is a shame is that the low numbers might have been the reason why
Infinity left the boys off of the Baltimore FM talk lineup."
The line-up really reflects shows that have been on in Baltimore for a long time, but on
a crappy AM station. Stern was on there for about 13 years, and Don and Mike were
on there for 12 years, not sure about Lick Ass. Once the support for Ron and Fez
grows in DC, it will follow up north to 'Balmer.
Love your pics, btw.
aflover - they'll be on the air in NY again. Someone will figure a way to make it work.
cozmokramer "And Ron and Fez truly aren't the same without NY."
No...it is different when the same twelve people aren't calling all the time.

From dcrtv.com. I find this hard to believe:
MMJ, POC Top March Numbers - 3/25 -
No big changes in the March release of the monthly Arbitrend radio ratings. For the DC market, age 12+, WMMJ holds onto 1st, with WPGC-FM 2nd, WTOP 3rd, WGMS and WKYS 4th, WHUR 6th, WMAL 7th, WJZW up two to 8th in a tie with WASH, WBIG up one to 10th, WRQX down two to 11th, WIHT up three to 12th, WJFK-FM down one to 13th in a tie with WMZQ which is up two, WARW down two to 15th, DC101 down two to 16th, WWZZ/WWVZ 17th, WTEM 18th, WBZS/WBPS up two to 19th, with WHFS down one to 20th in a tie with WOL. Morning drive, age 12+: WTOP 1st, WMMJ 2nd, WPGC-FM 3rd, WKYS 4th, WMAL and WRQX tie for 5th. Morning drive, age 25-54: WMMJ 1st, WTOP 2nd, WPGC-FM 3rd, WJFK-FM and WRQX tie for 4th. Evening drive, age 12+: WTOP 1st, WPGC-FM 2nd, WMMJ 3rd, WKYS 4th, WMAL 5th. Evening drive, age 25-54: WTOP 1st, WJFK-FM and WMMJ 2nd, WPGC-FM 4th, WHUR 5th. WJFK-FM takes a huge midday plunge from 1st with Don and Mike to 15th with Bill O'Reilly, and another big drop in evenings with Ron and Fez replacing the Sports Junkies. On weekends, the infomercial-laden 106.7 slides to 20th place among the 12+ crowd. Up in Baltimore, WPOC remains in the top spot, with WERQ 2nd, WLIF 3rd, WWIN-FM 4th, WBAL-AM and WWMX tie for 5th, WIYY 7th, (now defunct urban) WXYV 8th, WQSR 9th, and WHFS 10th. Down in Fredericksburg, WFLS places 1st, WBQB 2nd, WYSK-FM 3rd, WTOP 4th, and WJFK-FM and WPGC-FM tie for 5th. More from Radio And Records

Give the boys a few ratings books
This is more than likely going to bore everyone so just scroll down but here goes:
There is something known as The Product Life Cycle...RnF is a product that has been thrust into a new market and the following is the norm for what will take place...There are four stages
1) Market Introduction-Awareness is at an extremely low level(causing for low ratings perhaps)...at this stage only certain members of the public know about the product and even fewer are willing to give it a chance(these people are called innovators)...At this point the most money should be allocated towards advertising to increase recognition of the brand name
2)Market Growth-this is the point in the product's life where it has already made a name for itself but is growing to what will be nearly its eventual capacity, some would argue this is the most important step....Word-of-Mouth is a key contributer to a products success at this point, as the type of people who 'jump on board' (called Early Adaptors) begin to trust a product, based on feedback from the Innovators and recognition due to advertising...this trickles down to the next level of consumers (the Adaptors)...it is at this point that the product knows where it stands, whether good or bad
3)Market Maturity...(the longest stage if successful) this is when a product is no longer growing significantly but rather staying the relatively the same, it has already built up a following....if anybody is actually reading this, i enjoy rice pudding.....there will be a slight waver in consumers as some (Laggards) will be late to arrive 'on the scene'...advertising will serve as a reminder rather than to attract
4) Market Decline-speaks for itself, but could be years and years down the road depending on how long they remain in the third stage(Levi's Jeans remained in the that stage for about 50 years)....the only combatent for this stage is Rejuvenation which usually comes in the form of a big change
So sorry but since i am not using my education in the real world i figured i would try to see if i still got it, one year post-commencement

It's going to take time for Ron and Fez to develop a big crowd. Here's why:
-In my opinion R&F have a type of show that you're either addicted and listen to everynight or rarely ever.
-I don't think there are casual fans, and with their type of comedy that involves the staff you have to listen for a while to understand the jokes, but once you're hooked, there's no going back. You'll change you're schedule and life to listen to the show. And until people have a chance to listen for a while they won't develop as large of an audience.

I sent a message to Paul Farhi, he is the tv and radio columnist for the Post.
Springfield, Va.: Have you heard or seen any ratings for WJFK's nightly Ron and Fez show? They seem to be getting a variety of new callers to the show a good mix of men and women. Also Paul have you heard the show and what do you think?
Thanks
Paul Farhi: Ron and Fez are growing on me. They're pretty funny guys, and yes, they do get a pretty lively mix of callers. Ratings wise, they haven't recaptured the audience the Junkies had. Plus, they've lost their NYC slot. I hope WJFK sticks with 'em...
I know he isn't saying much, but at least he is listening and is being positive.
Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.
Ok let's get the boys back live in NY. Don't give up the fight.

Jafter, I dunno if you realized, but youve done more promotions for WJFK in that letter than the entire Promo team at JFK for RnF!
Nice work man, ill prolly e-mail dcrtv about em, they know the ratings.
