1st Nice day=Drinking?

Saturday was the the first really nice day we have had in awhile. On Friday night I happened to go visit the college i recently graduated from...well Saturday afternoon turned out to be the biggest day of drinking that i had experienced in a long time.....it started at 1 pm for me but for many it started at noon....there were kegs abound on lawns, barbecues, beer pong, horseshoes, football games....it was just an all around fun time...But it wasn't just a couple of people, it was practically the whole apartment complex

So I was just wondering if this was common b/c as i get older I hope that this trend continues...I had a great time and b/c it was the weekend it wasn't interrupting any of my responsibilities...Did anybody else do anything worthwhile on the first nice day of the year?

I spent the entire day inside listening to talks on isoprene emissions from pine trees and raptor predation on lemurs in Madagascar and the Cambrian "explosion" and cadmium resistance in polychaetes at a superfund site.

Oh, and there was some drinking involved too.
