sup my ron & fez peoples?! i like to stop in here & there & read the forum too. i used to listen to them & many times began my friday night drinking alongside the rest of you's to the show, after work on my walkman. so i miss that kinda lol haha i'm sure they'll get back on in ny & if not i've gotten nuff laughs outta the show to last 4ever neway. well i was reading some of the posts on the america thread and it was just great to see post after post of people caring about our freedoms and recognizing our government is here to serve us & not the other way around. it inspired me to post a quote i've come across that's very old but no less recognizable today...
"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind... And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded with patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader, and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caeser"
Peace peoples...
