Women offended by Flight attendant's rhyme

The race-discrimination lawsuit of two black sisters (Grace Fuller, 48, and Louise Sawyer, 46) against Southwest Airlines is scheduled to go to trial in Kansas City, Kan., in March. The sisters' entire case is that a white flight attendant, in a hurry to get passengers seated, recited Southwest's version of a rhyme that has a racist history: "Eenie, meeny, minie, moe / Pick a seat, We gotta go." I'm sick of people who think they can just inturrupt everyone else's lives and sue whenever and whatever they want, just because they think the color of their skin gives tham that right.
Put yourself in her position, imagine how these sisters must have been acting, to the point where you have to stay within the rules of your employment, and say, "we all have a job to do, now sit down and shut up so we can fucking go" so you give the line you're being paid to give, and you get sued... or punched in the face...

Another reason we need to reform the legal system. The rhyme does has vague racist connotations, but it's not like they showed "Song of the South" as the in flight movie or the Captain read Little Black Sambo over the PA system.

My favorites are the fat flight attendant who sued (and won) because she was asked by her airline to lose weight because she was too fat to walk down the aisle without hitting the seats and the guy who sued (and won) because the smell of the peanuts served on the flight caused him to have an allergic reaction (he was allergic to peanuts) and the airline didn't notify him ahead of time that peanuts would be served on the flight.

But the all time most ridiculous lawsuit having to do with a black person suing is a black man who sued the online version of an encyclopedia because is had the word "Niger" in it. He claimed it traumatized his son. The law suit was thrown out because the entry was about the African Country Niger and the fuckhead thought it was "Nigger." You can't make this shit up.

What's next, people with the bubonic plague suing kids for singing "Ring Around the Rosie"?

Oh, and can you imagine the lawsuits when Hooters Air starts?

That happened here in DC. It took place during budget hearings. An analyst used the word when describing city finances.

Even though it was a legitimate word used in the proper context, it probably wasn't the smartest thing to say in a majority-black city.

Of course I really wouldn't "chuck her off the plane", but it's still obnoxious as hell. There's such a thing as doing your job and then there's just being a rude person. That's what happened here. It's nowhere near being sue-worthy, but it's still annoying as hell. If I caught any of my employees "singing" at a customer, there'd be trouble...
