According to one of the "hot sheets" i use...
In addition to Orton being injured, Batista was also injured at the same event, suffering what is believed to be a torn tricep muscle. Both will meet with Dr. James Andrews as soon as possible.
There are no estimates of how long each will be out of action, but it's expected the "Evolution" angle will be dropped altogether or at least be put on hold for the time being.
I like to see what the Raw creative team come up with now?

I just heard the news also. He injured it at a WWE house show when he was trying to bodyslam Bubba Ray dudley, immediately after that he went on to pin bubba ray, thus having a quick ending of the match
Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

Not that either one of them had a huge angle going on, with Evolution having really just started, but man do they need some new talent to be added to the roster. This show is struggling right now, if they make the wrong decisions here (like making the Nature Boy put back on the trunks to try & save the storyline to some extent), the show might just become unwatchable.

See this is what happens when you have such a huge story line with two very green and unproven wrestlers. You can not invest all that time and money into two wrestlers who haven't wrestled a year straight without injurying themselves.

I think Batista was going to do a program with Scott Steiner.

Too bad Vince doesn't have any more daughters for them to bang.
