I think that's how they were spelled. These little worm like toys with eyes that were pulled by an "invisible" thread? On the commercial, it looked amazing, but when you ordered yours, you could never make it do they things that they guy on the commercial could.

It was as big a disappointment as Sea Monkeys. The ads in the comic books showed these smiling sea creatures that looked like happy little people with fins, but you were lucky to get something that resembled the brine shrimp that they were.

And while I'm at it, there was also this monkey toy called Mon-Chee-Chee or something. That was also a bid disappoinment.

Interesting how i think of disappointing posts when I'm depressed.

I remember squirmels. They kind of looked like pipe cleaners only fuzzier and more limp, with little eye stickers attached to the head. I got sucked in by that one when I was a kid. They made it look like the damn thing was alive in the commercials.

I remember the monchichis, too.
