I love the Nick at Nite and TV Land and for the most part I can watch an entire series all the way through.
I am happy as anything that Perfect Strangers and Head of the Class are on again but the same 5 episodes of both have been running for the last TWO weeks! Whats up with that? I mean people do watch after 3:30 you know.
They are running the Family Ties out of sequence too and that is really REALLY confusing me. I mean it was bad enough that one season Andrew was fresh out of the hatch and then the next he was 4. 4! Now the episodes that get aired are one early episode and then one late one. What will they do about the two parters?!? What if I miss the one where Alex goes apeshit on speed?!?

He's still alive -- and in DC performing at the Kennedy Center!
STONES IN HIS POCKETS -- (At Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater through Sunday)
Like mismatched roommates, charm and mawkishness are forced into uncomfortable proximity in Marie Jones's comic celebration of that essential character out of Irish fact and fiction, the underdog. Onto the agreeably satirical tale of a film crew descending upon a village in the Irish countryside, Jones has grafted the doleful story of a young man who drowns by weighting himself down with rocks. The weaving of the two largely incompatible threads is the elaborate task that Jones created for herself in the play. And while the actors animating the two-man piece, Bronson Pinchot and Tim Ruddy, are witty and inspired chameleons, their effervescent theatricality is not sufficient ballast for some of the sodden, message-laden sequences with which Jones pads her play. What's most appealing about "Stones" is the stunt the actors are asked to pull off. In quick-change fashion, they not only play the two extras but 13 other major characters as well, from stuck-up directors to libidinous starlets. Still, "Stones in His Pockets" takes a lot of comic capital amassed in Act 1 and squanders it in an increasingly preachy and leaden Act 2, when the story of Sean, a troubled young man from the village where the film is being made, takes hold.

I caught the Head of the Class, when hey went to Russia the other night, and it was absolutely painful. Howard Hessman is just so insufferable in anything that's not Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment. And that whole Russian thing is painful, especially when the Fat guy and Arvid are "scoping chicks".

I was always scared went Family Ties went "drama" on us- Steven getting quadruple by-pass surgery; Alysse getting hit on; Tom Hanks beating the piss out of Alex in a drunken haze. I would hide under my bed and pray that Skippy would somehow pop back in (...and not the episode where Skippy went to find his "real" parents; those motherfuckers!).

......and come to think of it, if only Skippy was adopted then how come his younger sister was just a smaller, female version of Skippy that looked identical to him? Just what kind of bull shit were they trying to pull on us, anyway?
