Band that should (finally!) pack it in.

Man, there are an awful lot of bands out there that are still doing it loooong after they've worn out their welcome.
Anyband that no longer has the original line-up (within reason....I know shit happens) should pack it in.
Also...any band that nobody cares about (like The Bangles reunion later this month) should give it up and get day jobs.

RATT (no original members except the geet player. We barely cared back in the day!)

VILLAGE PEOPLE (different losers...same constumes)

CCR (actually use the name Creedence Clearwater REVISITED! Some of the same band members...different singer)

ENUFF Z'NUFF (still limping across the finish line. Now w/o the lead singer!)

KISS (It's time those losers stopped milking it. How many reunions, farewells, & greatest hits tours can the market really take? A KISS concert is now officially a StarTrek convention)

As a diehard KISS fan, I still sort of agree with you. To me, KISS' best days are way behind them now. I wouldn't mind them touring all of the time, just stop screwing the fans. Don't tell us that this is a farewell tour and come back a year later. Stop releasing all of the same music repackaged on a different CD. The worst is when they tour in makeup without Ace Frehley or Peter Criss. They shouln't put other guys in their ,akeup. It's an insult to their fans.

Back to the topic: The Beach Boys. One of my favorite all-time bands but, in my opinion, they should have called it quits after Carl Wilson died.

Unfortunately Mike Love has 5 or 6 ex-wives to pay alimony and child support to so he may be milking the name for a while longer.

Together or seperately these two simply NEED to stop "rockin'".
The saddest part is; Diamond Dave has absolutley NO CLUE how pathetic he looks & sounds. He has honestly convinced himself that he's still got a few rock & roll tricks up his sleeve.
Sammy has deteriorated into the Hard Rocks very own Jimmy Buffet. All that nonsense with "Cabo" and tequilla and those wacky "woboritas". Ugh!
And the both of them with their indoor sunglasses and untucked button down "wacky" shirts and ... AND..... ARGH!!!

Great quote, yet this has always been the case. Seriously, it's a fucking makeup show with guitar and pyrotechs. Can we get the crew from Great White to work the next Kiss farewell tour.

With the exception of the Stones, I hate every single band listed thus far in their so-called prime. Fezident is right on here, but Nascar fans keep them all around.
