Glad to see John Mayer win. Singer-songwriter pop music is back in style.
That was about as far as I got, then I turned on TBS to watch Sammy J in "Shaft." Anyone got any more results?

What were the NY/NJ Hitmen Cheerleaders doing at the Grammys?
...and in the ongoing, real-life, entertainment industry version of Where's Waldo...yes, I was able to spot Fred Durst.

So the secret to winning lots and lots of grammys now is to be a chick who plays the piano?

The flow of the show is all wrong! They should announce the nominees & winner and THEN that artist should perform the song. There was ZERO element of suprise on the Gram's last night. The artist would perform...wait backstage.... and come up to claim their Gram a minute later. Lame.
Also.... does anyone else disagree with this whole Norah Jones sweep?! She didn't write or produce ANY of her own music. She really only had one hit and THAT is nothing more than a novelty. That Jazzy/smokey piano bar thing is a fad right now. Just like ska, electronica, swing, grunge and nu-metal was. Everyone keeps talking aboot her "timelessness'. To me it just sounds old. True...it is refreshing, but so was every other fad when it first started.
Snore-a Jones will be a trivia question in 3 years.
Anyone remember Tasmin Archer? I rest my case.

Please ... if you're a big girl/woman please cover yourself up!...No one wants to see your flab!
More importantly, if you're a friend of a big gal & she asks you how she looks...tell her something close to the truth. If she's squeezing 250 worth of giggle into something with a weight limit of 200, politely tell her there might be better options for her out there. Especially if your big friend is about to go on national TV.
And for God's sake, put some sleeves on! All that extra going on & she's in spaghetti-straps?! I don't care what Oprah wears, big arms on a woman isn't sexy, especially when they aren't big b/c of muscle. I'm big, and you won't catch me in public in a tight shirt or tank-top...it just ain't right!

Coldplay WAS awesome.
I'm official in the Avril Lavigne hate camp now. I was holding off, cause I wanna fuck her, and fuck her hard, and I still do, but Christ is she annoying. Someone tell her that the punk / sk8er grrrl schtick isn't cute.
And as for Fred Durst.....why is this man still drawing breath?!?!
I swear, if I was given the opportunity to kill either Saddam Hussein or Fred Durst.....Saddam wouldn't necessarily have to start saying his prayers....

I'm definitely in agreeance.
To me Avril Lavigne looks like a teenage Loretta Swit, all she needs are the fatigues.
