The action last night seemed really different from the
style that WWE had been using. While WWE has been
favoring shorter and shorter matches for a while now,
the matches last night were really focused around 1 or
2 key exchanges (Benoit latching on the crossface,
Mysterio with the lauch into the top rope hurra
canrana) and the wrestlers sold pretty heavy
(Undertaker selling for Show's clothsline and
chokeslam, also Show did his chokeslam a little
differently avoiding a sloppy landing by going straight
down and landining on his knee). It seems that Vince
has changes the wrestling style to emphasize selling,
maybe to emulate mixed martial arts, and make each
match noteworthy. Wonder if it will work.
